The concept had potential, but the book wasn't very satisfying to read. It needed a lot of editing, not just for its major errors but even some as simple as spelling mistakes. The imagery used in the erotic scenes carried a more revolting connotation than a sexy one. The author also has a habit of repeating the same points and phrases over and over in which quick succession as if the reader is too stupid to understand something like, for example, how thicc the main character's ass is. I believe that this particular fact was put across at least once every three or so sentences with similar phrasing each time within one of the scenes. I ended up rolling my eyes or cringing at the word choices or the way the author seemed to beat 'significant' facts into my head. I read this out of curiosity after I hit the one-click buy button by mistake and I wish I could undo that action. I've read bad erotica before, but I've never made the mistake of forking my money over for it. This author needs experience and an editor's help before they should sell their work. They have potential, they just haven't reached the point where they've mastered the craft yet. I'm a fan of Amelita Rae's work. However, I didn't like this novel at all. It wasn't badly written or anything and the sex scenes were as usual very hot. But I was definitely bored with them because of the whole concept behind it. It's not that I was bothered by the incest or multiple partners, it was just in my opinion plain and boring. I skimmed through a lot of it, including the sex scenes, until halfway to the end of the book. I just gave up on reading the rest. I don't like giving up reading books like that and it happens rarely, but it was just too pointless. I don't like to give bad reviews, but it's definitely not her best work. The cover art is as usual beautiful though. And if you're just looking for a kinky sex read, then this book is definitely for you. I still love this author and I will definitely keep reading her work.
